When dealing with the IRS you should arm yourself with as much information as possible.  The following links provide you with tax forms, general and specific information and advice on dealing with your IRS taxes.  Even an IRS-Hitman needs these resources to make sure I’m giving you the best information I can. 

Resource and Forms Sites

Here is all the technical stuff including forms and official information.  This stuff is dry, but it is critical to getting your taxes filed. 

Federal Forms
This is a complete listing of federal forms.  This includes not just IRS tax forms, but forms for small business.  Each form also contains a copy of the form that you can download. 

Federal Rules & Regulations
This is a comprehensive list of federal rules and regulations regarding income tax filing.  If you’re unsure about a deduction or if you’re a new home owner and don’t know what you can claim; this site can help get you on the right track.  

IRS website
This is the official website for the IRS.  It gives you access to all of the IRS forms you need and instructions on how to complete them.  It’s surprisingly easy to navigate your way through and find the information you need. 

Tax Help Sites

These are some sites that help specific groups, notably small business persons and military personnel.  The taxes surrounding these two groups can be a little more complicated than the average tax return so a little more assistance can be helpful.  

Business Tax Solutions
This, which is affiliated with Quicken, gives you tools to file your small business taxes.  It’s worth checking out if you’re stuck on your 1099 or 941 tax forms. 

Armed Forces Tax Guide
This provides tax information and help for members of the military and their families.  We support our men and women who are fighting overseas and want to provide them with the help they need when filing their taxes.
